Step by step
Springbok Casino iPhone setup: Safari, a shortcut and no App Store
Springbok Casino on an iPhone or iPad runs in Safari. There is no App Store app to look for, because Springbok's newest pages say there is no app at all. Open the site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and you get an icon that opens the casino with the account you already have.

Add Springbok to your iPhone home screen
Add to Home Screen is part of Safari, so these steps work on any iPhone or iPad that can run a current version of iOS. Nothing is downloaded from the App Store or anywhere else.
Open Safari
Start in Safari itself. A link opened inside WhatsApp, Instagram or a mail app often loads in a viewer that cannot add home-screen icons, so look for Open in Safari first.
Load Springbok's site
Use the gold button here, or enter www.springbokcasino.co.za yourself. Look-alike addresses add a word or swap a letter, so glance at the bar before typing a password.
Sign in, or browse in Practice Mode
You see the same login form as on a computer: username, password, and a Practice Mode button for looking around with fun money. Games open in the same Safari tab.
Tap Share
Tap the Share icon, a square with an arrow pointing up. If your Safari uses the compact address bar, the icon may be tucked behind the ⋯ button beside the address.
Choose Add to Home Screen
Scroll down the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen. On newer iOS you may need to tap View More before it appears.
Name it and tap Add
Shorten the name to something you will recognise, such as Springbok, then tap Add. The icon lands on your home screen beside your apps.
Springbok on an iPad
The steps are the same on an iPad, with one difference: Safari's Share icon sits at the top of the screen, beside the address bar, rather than at the bottom. The extra room makes the cashier easier to read and gives busy game screens space to breathe.
- Split View and Stage Manager. Running Springbok next to another app can squeeze the tab into a phone-sized column. Give it the full screen if a game's buttons look cramped.
- Turning sideways. If a game suits landscape and the screen will not turn, open Control Centre and switch off Rotation Lock.
- A shared tablet. If the family uses the iPad, log out when you finish and do not let Safari save your password. Casino games are for adults only.
Springbok Casino iPhone games: trust the lobby count
Springbok's iPhone page promises "more than 100" mobile games. That figure undersells the casino: when the lobby was counted on 9 October 2026, it held 282 games and every one was flagged mobile-enabled. Springbok's own copy prints several different totals, so this guide sticks to the one with a date.
"more than 100"
- Marketing copy from the app-era mobile pages
- No date and no list behind the number
282 games
- 244 slots, 13 table games and 15 video poker titles among them
- Every one flagged mobile-enabled

Video poker is one place the iPhone does better than a computer. On desktop, Springbok's lobby shows a notice that the Flash version of its video poker is retired and that the games continue on mobile, where the HTML5 versions run (lobby, 9 October 2026).
Safari settings that change how Springbok behaves
Most people never need to touch these, but each one explains a common complaint from iPhone players.
Safari and iPhone settings
- Private Browsing
- Safari forgets the login when a private tab closes, so you sign in every time. Use a normal tab for the shortcut.
- Content blockers
- Ad and script blockers can stop a game from loading. Tap the page-settings button in the address bar and turn blockers off for this site to test.
- Low Power Mode
- Slows animations and background loading to save battery. Charge up or switch it off if games stutter.
- Low Data Mode
- Can hold back loading on mobile data. Switch it off for a session on a decent bundle, or play on Wi-Fi.
- Screen Time
- App Limits can put a daily allowance on Safari or on Springbok's address alone. When the time is up, Safari shows a limit screen in place of the page: a clear cue to stop.
Logging in from the iPhone, including the Forgot Password form, is covered in this mobile login walk-through. If games still will not open, the phone troubleshooting guide covers cache clearing and out-of-date iOS.
Chrome or another browser on an iPhone
You can use Chrome on an iPhone; Springbok says any modern browser works. Two things are worth knowing. On iPhones in South Africa every browser runs on Apple's WebKit engine, the same one inside Safari, so switching browsers rarely rescues a game that will not load: updating iOS is what updates the engine. And on recent iOS versions, Chrome can add a home-screen icon too, from its own Share menu.
Safari is still the simplest route, because it is already on every iPhone and iPad and updates with the system. Why there is no app at all is covered in the Springbok app answer.
Start with the free chip, or just look around
Once the icon is in place, you can browse in Practice Mode or open an account. New accounts can take the free chip: copy the code, paste it into the cashier's Redeem Coupon box, and only then think about a deposit.
On an Android phone too? Follow the Chrome shortcut steps instead. For deposits, coupons and withdrawals on a phone, read about Springbok's mobile cashier.
Questions people ask
Is there a Springbok Casino app for iPhone?
No. Springbok's latest pages describe browser play with nothing to download, so the App Store plays no part in the setup. Safari runs the site, and Add to Home Screen gives you an icon.
Does Springbok work on an iPad?
Yes. The same Safari steps apply; the only difference is that the Share icon sits at the top of the screen, beside the address bar.
How many Springbok games can I play on my iPhone?
The lobby held 282 games on 9 October 2026, all flagged mobile-enabled. Springbok's iPhone page still says "more than 100", which is older copy.
Why does Springbok log me out every time on my iPhone?
Private Browsing is the usual cause: Safari forgets the login when the private tab closes. Use a normal tab for Springbok and the shortcut.
